FindMySports ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information when you use our mobile app or website at find-my-sports.com.

FindMySports is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require an account. The app stores the following information locally on your device using your device's native storage:

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the app, our servers may automatically log standard request data such as approximate IP-derived region (for routing), device type, and timestamp, but we do not associate this with any persistent identifier.

Scout AI Chat

If you use the Scout AI feature, your questions are sent to our chat proxy server and processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic's Claude). Questions are not linked to your identity and are not stored by FindMySports after your session ends.

2. Sports Data and Third-Party Content

Game schedules, scores, team data, and broadcast information are sourced from publicly available data feeds including ESPN. We display this information but are not responsible for its accuracy or completeness. Broadcast networks and streaming provider availability are approximations based on publicly known lineups and may vary by market.

3. How We Use Information

Information you store locally is used only to personalize your experience — showing games available on your subscriptions and highlighting your favorite teams. We do not sell, rent, or share your local preferences with anyone.

4. Affiliate Links and External Services

FindMySports contains links to streaming services, cable providers, and sportsbooks. When you tap these links, you may be taken to a third-party website or app. We may earn a commission if you sign up for a service through these links. These links do not share any of your personal data with the third party beyond what your browser or app would ordinarily transmit.

When you leave FindMySports, the privacy policy of the destination service applies. We are not responsible for how third parties handle your data.

5. Cookies and Tracking (Website)

Our website find-my-sports.com does not currently use cookies or tracking pixels. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and provide clear notice.

6. Children's Privacy

FindMySports is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Data Security

Your personal preferences are stored locally on your device, protected by your device's native security (lock screen, OS-level storage). Server requests are transmitted over HTTPS. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we make reasonable efforts to protect data in transit.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal information to any server, most data protection requests do not apply — there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. You can clear all locally stored data at any time by tapping Settings → Reset everything in the app, or by uninstalling the app.

If you contacted us by email or through a form, you may request deletion of that correspondence by emailing us (see below).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the website.
