FindMySports ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information when you use our mobile app or website at find-my-sports.com.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

FindMySports is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require an account. The app stores the following information locally on your device using your device's native storage:

• TV service subscriptions you select (e.g., YouTube TV, DirecTV)
• Favorite teams and leagues you star
• Your ZIP code or market region (if you choose to provide it for regional network detection)
• App preferences and settings

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third party, unless you turn on game-day alerts (described below).

Game-Day Alerts (Push Notifications)

Game-day alerts are off until you turn them on and allow notifications on your phone. When they are on, the app sends our server the information needed to alert you before your teams play: the push token your phone issues for FindMySports, the favorite teams you chose for alerts (with their league), the TV services you saved, your time zone, your device platform (iPhone or Android) and the app version. We use it for one purpose: sending a notification shortly before those teams’ games that says when the game starts and which channel carries it. It is not linked to your name, email or any account, and we do not sell or share it or use it for advertising. It is stored on our Cloudflare infrastructure. Notifications are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple or Google’s notification services, which process the push token to deliver them. To avoid duplicate alerts we keep a short record of which games we have already alerted each token about, deleted after 48 hours; when you open an alert we count the tap by game only. Turning alerts off in the app deletes your token and alert settings from our server (right away, or the next time your phone is online). If you uninstall the app or block notifications, our server deletes them the next time a delivery reports that your phone no longer accepts them.

Email Newsletter

If you sign up for our weekly email on the website, we collect and store the email address you provide, along with the signup date and which page you signed up from. We use it for one purpose: sending the weekly where-to-watch email. We do not sell or share the list, and we never add addresses that didn't sign up. Emails are delivered through Resend, our email service provider, which processes addresses on our behalf. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all newsletter email immediately. You can also ask us to delete your address entirely at [email protected].

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the app, our servers may automatically log standard request data such as approximate IP-derived region (for routing), device type, and timestamp, but we do not associate this with any persistent identifier.

Scout AI Chat

If you use the Scout AI feature, your questions are sent to our chat proxy server and processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic's Claude). Questions are not linked to your identity and are not stored by FindMySports after your session ends.

2. Sports Data and Third-Party Content

Game schedules, scores, team data, and broadcast information are sourced from publicly available data feeds including ESPN. We display this information but are not responsible for its accuracy or completeness. Broadcast networks and streaming provider availability are approximations based on publicly known lineups and may vary by market.

3. How We Use Information

Information you store locally is used only to personalize your experience — showing games available on your subscriptions and highlighting your favorite teams. We do not sell, rent, or share your local preferences with anyone.

4. Affiliate Links and External Services

FindMySports contains links to streaming services, cable providers, sportsbooks, and ticket marketplaces. When you tap these links, you may be taken to a third-party website or app. We may earn a commission if you sign up for a service through these links. These links do not share any of your personal data with the third party beyond what your browser or app would ordinarily transmit.

When you leave FindMySports, the privacy policy of the destination service applies. We are not responsible for how third parties handle your data.

5. Cookies and Analytics (Website)

Our website find-my-sports.com uses two analytics tools to understand how the site is used. Both set cookies in your browser. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or combine it with any information that identifies you personally.

• Google Analytics — measures page views, traffic sources, and which links visitors click, so we can tell which pages are useful. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Clarity — records how pages are used, including scrolling, clicks, and session replays, so we can see where the site's layout confuses people. Clarity automatically masks text you type into form fields. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

You can opt out of both by enabling “Do Not Track” or a tracker-blocking extension in your browser, or by blocking cookies for this site. Nothing on find-my-sports.com requires cookies to work — game schedules and channel listings load the same either way.

Our mobile apps do not use either tool.

Team calendar subscriptions. If you add a team’s schedule to your calendar from one of our team pages, the calendar link carries a random code that is not tied to you or your device. Each time your calendar app refreshes the schedule, we record the team, the kind of calendar app (for example Apple, Google or Outlook) and that code in Google Analytics, so we can count how many subscriptions are active. Removing the calendar from your app stops the refreshes.

6. Children's Privacy

FindMySports is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Data Security

Your personal preferences are stored locally on your device, protected by your device's native security (lock screen, OS-level storage). Server requests are transmitted over HTTPS. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we make reasonable efforts to protect data in transit.

8. Your Rights

You can clear all locally stored preferences at any time by tapping Settings → Reset everything in the app, or by uninstalling the app.

If you signed in with an email address or Google account, we store a minimal profile on our servers (via Supabase) to sync your teams and providers across devices. You may request deletion of your account and server-side profile at any time from our Account Deletion page, or by emailing us (see below). We process deletion requests within 7 days.

If you contacted us by email or through a form, you may request deletion of that correspondence by emailing us as well.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the website.
