FindMySports answers one question: what channel is the game on, and can I actually watch it? Not what channel it’s on somewhere — what channel it’s on for the services you already pay for.

Who runs this

FindMySports is built and maintained by Mike Miernik, its founder. It is an independent site. No broadcaster, league, or streaming service holds a stake in it, and nobody pays to be listed or ranked here.

What we cover

Every team in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and the Premier League, plus 196 college football programmes across the FBS and FCS. Each team has its own page showing the next game, the network carrying it, and where to stream it without cable.

Where the data comes from

Schedules, start times, and broadcast assignments come from the leagues’ own published schedules and from ESPN’s public schedule feeds. A background service re-checks those feeds every minute, so a start-time change or a flexed broadcast window shows up here without waiting for anyone to edit a page by hand.

Which channels a given streaming service actually carries is a separate problem, and a harder one, because carriage differs by market and changes without notice. We verify that against the providers’ own published channel line-ups and re-check it on a schedule. Regional sports networks are where this gets genuinely messy — a national guide that tells you a game is “on the RSN” is useless if your provider dropped that channel last year.

What we can and cannot tell you

We are good at national windows, published schedules, and which service carries which channel. We are less reliable at the last mile: local blackouts, over-the-air reception, and the exact channel number your provider assigns in your ZIP code. Where a game’s broadcast has not been assigned yet, we say so rather than guess.

Corrections

Broadcast data goes stale in ways that are nobody’s fault. Games get flexed, carriage deals lapse mid-season, networks swap windows late. If something here is wrong, email [email protected] and we will correct it. Fixes to the underlying data take effect across every page that uses it, usually within the hour.

How we make money

FindMySports is free and does not require an account. When we link to a streaming service such as Fubo and you sign up, we may earn a commission. That costs you nothing extra.

It also does not buy placement. We list the services that actually carry the game you are looking at, including the ones we earn nothing from, and we say when the only way to watch something is a service we have no relationship with. A recommendation you cannot trust is worth less to us than the commission.

The apps

FindMySports is also an app for Android and iPhone. Tell it which services you subscribe to and it filters every live and upcoming game down to the ones you can actually watch.
