Delete Your Account
For FindMySports app and website users
You can request deletion of your FindMySports account and associated data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what we retain, and how to submit your request.
What Gets Deleted
When we process your request, the following will be removed:
- Your account (email address, sign-in credentials)
- Your saved favorite teams and leagues (server copy)
- Your saved TV provider selections (server copy)
- Your display name and profile preferences
What We May Retain
We may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate operational purposes, including:
- Email correspondence you've sent us (deleted on separate request)
- Anonymized server logs used for security and troubleshooting (rotated automatically)
Timeline
Requests are typically processed within 7 days. You'll receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete. If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, please include any other details that can help us verify your identity.
Alternative: Delete Locally
If you only want to clear data stored on your device (without deleting your account), you can do this yourself inside the app: Settings → Reset everything. This clears locally cached data. It does not delete your server-side account.
