It depends on the game. The 2026 season is split across ION, USA Network, Prime Video, CBS, ESPN, ABC, NBA TV, CNBC and NBC nationally, plus around twenty regional and local stations. The list at the top of this page shows today's games with the channel each one is actually on.
Are WNBA games on ION free?
Yes. ION is a free over-the-air broadcast network, so ION's WNBA games cost nothing to watch with a TV antenna. ION carried more WNBA games than any other national channel this season, and it is also included with Fubo, which runs three dedicated “WNBA on ION” feeds.
How do I watch the WNBA without cable?
Fubo covers most of the national schedule — ION, CBS, NBC, ABC, ESPN and NBA TV. The one gap is USA Network, which Fubo dropped when the channel moved to Versant at the start of 2026; those games need YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV Stream or Sling Blue. Prime Video games need an Amazon Prime Video subscription, and out-of-market games that aren't nationally televised are on WNBA League Pass.
What is WNBA League Pass and do I need it?
WNBA League Pass streams games that aren't nationally televised, which was most of the schedule in 2026. It blacks out games in your own team's market, so it is for following a team you don't live near. If you want your local team, your local station or regional sports network is the answer instead.
